I completed my military service at the Sınırtepe Outpost in Nusaybin, Mardin/ Türkiye. This service is not just a duty but also an honor. What makes the military esteemed in the eyes of our nation and the barracks sacred are the moral values it embodies. Preserving and upholding these values with diligence is vital for fostering national unity and the strong bond between the military and the people.
The military profession is a way of life that cannot be measured by material compensation. It demands dedication to noble ideals and requires qualities such as integrity, self-confidence, diligence, awareness, and a strong spirit. For soldiers of all ranks and positions, dignity, seriousness, and a profound sense of responsibility are fundamental principles.
The Turkish military, with its history spanning thousands of years, is not merely an institution but a body of ideals, values, and traditions. This deep-rooted heritage should resonate in the hearts and minds of every commander and leader, forming the cornerstone of their sense of duty. The rich history of the Turkish armed forces mandates that these traditions and moral values remain ever-present in the consciousness of those who serve.
Military service is not only a responsibility but also a sacred obligation that preserves the soul, history, and noble ideals of a nation. Acting with this awareness is both a duty and an honor for every soldier and leader.
